Unacceptable Behavior
Behaviors that violate our community standards
Zero Tolerance: The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the community.
Harassment & Discrimination

Inappropriate Communication

Disruptive Activities
- • Deliberately spreading misinformation

Legal & Safety Violations

- • Threats of violence or harm

Confidentiality: All reports are handled confidentially. We take privacy seriously and will protect reporter identity.

Response Time: We aim to respond to all reports within 24 hours and resolve issues within 5 business days.
Consequences
Progressive disciplinary actions for code violations
Warning
Private message explaining the violation and expected behavior change
Temporary Suspension
Limited access for 1-7 days depending on severity
Extended Suspension
Account suspended for 1-4 weeks for repeated violations
Permanent Ban
Complete removal for severe or repeated violations
Note: Consequences are determined based on the severity of the violation, impact on the community, and the individual's history. We reserve the right to skip steps for particularly egregious behavior.

How to appeal disciplinary actions
Right to Appeal
If you believe a disciplinary action was taken in error or was disproportionate, you have the right to appeal within 30 days of the action.

Appeal Timeline: Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days by a different team member than who made the original decision.
